How do I delete my account or data?
Settings → Account → Delete account, in the mobile or web app. Or email support and we'll handle it manually. See our privacy policy for what we retain and for how long.

Do I have to enter every vehicle spec by hand?
No. Enter the VIN and Gearboxe pulls year, make, model, trim, engine, transmission, drivetrain, and horsepower from the NHTSA database. Edit anything that's wrong or missing.
Can I attach receipts to a service entry?
Yes. Upload a photo or PDF of the receipt and it stays attached to that entry. You can also add work photos separately, so the receipt and the build pics don't get mixed up.
How do reminders know when something's due?
Set the interval once — miles, months, or both. Gearboxe tracks your mileage history, calculates the next due date, and pings you by push or email when it hits. Pause any schedule that's overkill for your driving.
Can I see what I've spent?
Every entry tracks cost, parts (with brand, part number, and unit price), and whether you did the work yourself, at a shop, or at the dealer. Roll up totals by vehicle, type, or provider.
What happens when I sell the car?
Transfer it to the new owner inside the app — the entire service history moves with the car. If the buyer isn't on Gearboxe, just remove the vehicle from your garage.
Can I share my build publicly?
Yes. Make a vehicle public and open a build thread — a multi-post timeline with photos, mileage, and tags. Reactions, comments, and followers are built in. Each thread can be private, unlisted, or public.
